Hi, I’m Ashley Nelson, an IMPACT Prevention Specialist with the Alcohol and Drug Awareness Council of Orange County (ADAC). I am passionate about empowering youth and strengthening communities through evidence-based substance use prevention, education, and health promotion.
I work closely with schools, families, and community organizations to provide engaging, interactive programs on topics such as alcohol, cannabis, vaping, nicotine, stress management, and healthy decision-making. My goal is to help young people build resilience, develop healthy coping skills, and make informed choices that support lifelong well-being.
I believe prevention is about more than sharing information—it’s about building meaningful relationships, creating safe spaces for learning, and helping individuals recognize their strengths. I strive to make every presentation interactive, relatable, and engaging so participants leave feeling informed and empowered.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in 2024 and am currently pursuing my Master of Social Work. I am committed to continuing my education and serving the youth, families, and communities of Orange County with compassion, dedication, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference.
