Job description

Defender Based Advocacy program in Orange County is seeking a qualified person to deliver therapeutic case management including assessment, referral, follow-up, and Court advocacy of offenders needing substance use disorder treatment and other services. Some field work required.

Qualifications:

  • CASAC or minimum of 2 year degree (Criminal Justice degree preferred) with relevant experience.
  • The ability to communicate effectively and efficiently. Excellent technical writing skills an absolute must.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Motivated worker with excellent organizational skills.
  • The ability to work as part of a team.
  • Reliable vehicle necessary.
  • Bilingual a plus.

Job Information:

  • Position is full time, Mon-Fri – 8:30am – 4:30pm. 35-hour work week.
  • After initial in-office training period, the position will be hybrid (in-office and remote work). In-office and remote days vary based on scheduling.
  • Benefits package available and includes: options for health, dental,vision, and supplemental insurance plans; paid vacation, sick and personal time off; HSA and 403(b) options; mileage reimbursements.
  • Salary: $40,000.00 – $44,000.00 per year
